Xbox360
Well, I recently bought a refurbed Xbox360 (for better or for worse) and I am in need of some cheaper games. There aren't really a LOT of good games out that I want to buy, but I am definitely going to try and pick up GTAIV and Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 when they come out. Drop any suggestions you might have.

Gears of War was a killer game, even the campaign. Haven't played the multiplayer since before I moved, but it was still pretty good even though I didn't like the updates. It's kind of how Halo was in the sense that it's a "must have" title for the console.
A chinchil... oh, wait.
The Portal portion of Orange Box really does live up to the hype. I don't think that it's worth $60 though, as the Portal portion is pretty short and the other portions of the game aren't really worth playing... unless you're a big Half-Life fan.
Assassin's Creed is cool, but it will get old WELL before you beat the game.
BioShock has gotten rave reviews, but I didn't even get through the demo as it's not really my thing. I haven't talked to a single person who didn't love it.
Call of Duty 4 was awesome.
A lot of shooters, I know.
I know there's at least one other thing, but I can't think of it right now. If I can think of it I'll comment later.
Bioshock is out of the question, because to put it bluntly, I thought it sucked balls.
I would assume Gears of War is at a reasonable price, I'll have to check that out.
Played Portal for computer. I thought it was pretty good, but sort of got bored by the time the "real" levels started. Maybe it was because it was pirated... who knows.
Played SP CoD4 wasn't TOO impressed, but I did hear that the MP was off the chain. Little pricey for my blood though, atm.
I picked up NBA08 for 30 used and it seems like a decent basketball game if nothing else. I'll have to play it more to get a better feel for the game.
Basically, I'm specifically waiting for GTAIV and PES08 to come out. If anything else happens to jump out at me, I might have to grab it.
