Mailing Lists
Most of the time, I hate being on any type of mailing list. I always hate how stores automatically add you to their mailing list, and for that matter, how they make you sign up for an account on their website just to order something. For some reason, they always have an easy way to remove yourself from their mailing list though. You'd think they'd want to make it impossible to unsubscribe, kinda of like a "fuck you, we got you now" type of thing. I assume the reason why they make it convenient to unsubscribe has to do with not wasting bandwidth. /random

I've seen a few that were really rough to unsubscribe from, namely Entertainment Weekly. They had some pretty contrived processes you had to go through, both of which ended with a final, trick-worded question. Something like "Do you not want to unsubscribe?" in an attempt to get you to click "Yes" without thinking about it. Jerks.
Although I too have always wondered why most people make it so easy to unsubscribe. I guess we should just be glad to have it.
